Messages tab is used for internal messaging within the WebABA system. This internal messaging feature allows you to send secure messages to other users of WebABA. It does not send to Parents or send emails outside of the system. This is by system design to ensure that the messages sent/received are secure and is within the HIPAA guidelines.
If you receive a message, you will see an alert at the top of the page on the Dashboard or the My schedule page (if you are a provider user).
Note: Messages Tab can be seen on top of the page for providers and the messages button is located on the top right of the page for office users.
- Search Message - The user is able to search for new and read messages by Client or by Payor (if these options were selected when the message was created.

Incoming Messages - User is able to view messages in this section. To mark as read, select the checkbox next to the message listed and select the “mark as read” option within the dropdown and then click the OK button.

Create Message - Send an internal message to another WebABA user in their facility.
- Select the name from the list of users provided.
- The user is able to hold down the CTRL button on the keyboard to select multiple recipients and the message will be sent to each recipient individually.
- After filling in the subject and message, the user has the option to select if they want the message to be labeled/be related to a client or payor. Once complete, click the Send Message button at the bottom to send.
